The lake welcomes me in, offers its cool embrace. Covered in goose bumps I hide in the sauna, listening how the exhaust air hums as it leaves the building.
I try to see the scent of northern Labrador tea and silence the jackdaws, failing in both, but I succeed in forgetting the world and narrowing it down to this small patch of land in the woods.
